As of May 2, 2008 several Verizon Wireless subscribers have reported MASSIVE delays in receiving their alerts. It appears that VerizonWireless is
now delaying alerts on their end. Our logs indicate that the messages are delivered to Verizon, Yahoo on the otherhand is delaying the acceptance of alerts & e-mail for up to 16 hours. We hope to get both companies to allow
us to continue to send out alerts and we will remove this warning once the issue has been resolved.
